family concert

Branding, creative direction, and design for JFS's annual family concert. I took a lot of inspiration from the band, Ozomatli, and their most recent album cover. Their sound is a refreshing blend of hip-hop, reggae, rock, funk, and jazz. I chose vibrant colors to reflect the upbeat nature of the music and psychedelic circular shapes to mimic the heat of a late summer event date. For the sponsor brochure design, I chose to create it in the size of a CD jacket, giving a nod to the band's 90s origins. Ozomatli was very complimentary of the designs and felt that they represented them to a tee.
