combating hunger campaign

Ad design and creative direction. JFS wanted to bring awareness to the growing hunger crisis. The goal was to emphasize the multiple channels in which they provide food for the community. For the smaller-scale ads, I chose to bring in a section of the JFS logo underneath photos of food-insecure children, to represent the agency stepping in to help. I felt that it evoked a positive feeling, mimicking a ray of light, or a subtle rainbow shape. For the billboard, the agency wanted to go bold and stand out from the other typical non-profit billboards. I accomplished this by focusing on one dominant word, filled with colorful nourishing foods, prompting the viewer to take a closer look at the message.
